I went to Sauce for the first time during the lunch hour and ordered a supreme pizza, drink and a (lemon) cannoli. The bill was just over $20.00. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was large with plenty of seating inside. There was also an outdoor seating area that was large. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. The supreme pizza was just ok. It didn't stand out in any way and need some garlic. The sauce did not taste like a sauce that would be served in an authentic Italian restaurant. It didn't appear to have any Italian seasoning or garlic, this could definitely make a difference in the taste. On the table, they had parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. A garlic shaker would have been nice. The cannoli cream was gritty and the shell was soft, that was a big disappointment. I do not anticipate going back.
Great experience with our visit a few weeks ago. Food was wonderful. Great service. Loved sitting on the patio!! I accidentally forgot my purse on patio chair and didn’t realize it till 20 minutes later after we left restaurant. I immediately called in and personable wait staff assure me that her general manager found it and put it safely away for my return. When I arrived 20 minutes later I talked to the general manager and he immediately retrieved it for me from a secure location. Talk about customer service that was above and beyond! We will definitely come back again even though we live about 25 minutes away!!
Definitely NOT what we had expected. We live only a minute away and have been really excited to try this out. First put off was having to stand in line to order at a restaurant! Tacky Second, I was told 45 minutes if we ordered a pizza. Um, that 's why we came. 3rd was after we got our food, our server not once came to check on us, we had to go inside to get refills on drinks. I guess my expectations were way too high.
it should be illegal to make macaroni and cheese sauce this amazing!! I've been cross country and this place beats out everywhere for mac sauce. Cheese pizza is good too, (they didn't burn the crust this time) the marinara sauce is good, flavorful. It can get a bit pricey, but it's great food.
