Our host, Pierre, was amazing in walking us through each course, introducing us to the unusual herbs and fruits used in the dishes (picking them from the garden and bringing them to the table! . It was a fascinating way to discover the richness of the local cuisine. After lunch, he guided us on an exciting visit to the vegetable garden, where we were able to see herbs, fruit and roots of all types and origins up close.
