Saw Shack - Reservar una mesa

I can't believe I lived in Jackson Heights for over a year without eating here before! Somehow I never noticed this little Chinese place, but I notice it now absolutely. It has the casual feeling, low prices and familiar menu of most take Chinese places, but has a few touches that it feels uplifted and homey y, like the daily specialties (all sound amazing) written on the chalkboard on the wall and the free flavored water (I don't know whether it is watermelon every day, or only today, but oh man it was good). The staff was super friendly and they seemed good to come together, which was nice to watch and contributed to the warm atmosphere. The selection of veggie options is extensive, and that's what I first had in I had the mango veggie chicken and it was very tasteful with a variety of vegetables (I asked for no peppers or onions they like to accommodate). I also ordered muted Veggie dumplings that were similar fantastic. I can't believe I didn't notice this place before!

We love Saw Shack! Her aubergine with garlic sauce and chicken and spread beans with ginger is exaggerated. We often get the vegetable fried rice that has large pieces of broccoli and other fresh vegetables in it, and it was never fat, and the brown rice is plump and nutty tasting. The only reason we don't give 5 stars is because the General Tso and Sesame Chicken are a little disappointing and dry, otherwise they have a stellar menu. We even love the sweet curtains and roti that could be unusual on a Chinese restaurant menu, but somehow it works everything. You will also not wait long if you go there to order, or have delivery.

Better than your good Chinese. Menu is vegetarian friendly and many healthy options, as well as seasonal specialities. They really care about their food quality and the ingredients they use. If you order the hot and acid soup, you will see that they really take time to do this. The chicken and broccoli is not fat and very tasty, but the general Tso chicken is not so great.

I'm so picky about Chinese food that I didn't have expectations when I command, just hunger... What a surprise how it should taste and the delivery was promt! It has become my only Chinese restaurant in the area, because even the remains were delicious! No more uncooked or old chicken for me!
