My wife and I discovered Sawan last year after her father passed away, and it was a wonderful dining experience. Every time we are in New Jersey visiting family, we make sure to stop by at least once. On one visit, we were in NJ because my cousin had sadly passed away, and we were so grateful for Sawan's delicious food and hospitality during such a difficult time. It really lifted our spirits. I love Indian food deeply. When I don't have time to make it at home, Sawan is my go-to. They aren't the closest place to me, but worth a drive to dine in or take out. Super fresh, super nice staff, master-class cuisine. Oh, and great prices to boot. If there is any criticism, it's that when you ask for extra-spicy, it doesn't seem to happen. Sawan Indian Food is a fantastic option for delicious Indian cuisine nearby. The service is fast and the owners and staff are very friendly. The meal begins with complimentary papads served with three different dipping sauces, ranging from savory to sweet to slightly spicy. The papads are a bit salty, but provide a nice crunchy start to the meal. We ordered the chicken makhani, lamb Rogan Josh, sag paneer, and garlic naan. All of the dishes were perfectly seasoned, hot, and delicious. The portions were generous, allowing us to take some leftovers home. I can't praise this restaurant enough! The directions were followed perfectly and the food was not only authentic but also delicious! I haven't tried the bread yet, but I'm sure it's just as amazing as the main dishes. The meat was incredibly tender and the flavors were fantastic without being too spicy. This is definitely my top choice for Indian restaurants from now on. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The buffet offered a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Excellent value for money! I would give a perfect score of 5 for the food, service, and atmosphere.
