This was our first experience at Saybrook Fish House and it exceeded our expectations! They started off by bringing us hot steaming rolls with delicious butter. We started off with mozzarella sticks and mussels! The mozzarella sticks were like anything I've ever tasted before. The cheese was oozing out of them and melted like butter in my mouth not to mention how huge they were and paired with the marinara WOW! Recently came here with a group of friends for dinner and it was excellent. This was my third evening at SFH and I can report that every meal has been consistently delicious. You have not lived until you have had their creamy homemade dressing or their signature seafood stuffing (which is incorporated in many dishes). Tonight I had the Mahi Mahi special with mango salsa over mashed sweet potatoes and it was fantastic. Hardly had room for dessert, but the chocolate mousse cake was irresistible. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. We had a warm fireplace right behind our table. One of our favorite restaurants for seafood. The service is always friendly and professional. The food is always excellent and portions nice. You can't beat their signature dish, Baked stuffed Shrimp, offering 5 large stuffed shrimp and sides. They have a family style salad with a homemade dressing that is wonderful. Pre-Covid it was even better because they served a very nice assorted bread basket, and the salad was even nicer. Still one of our favorite places to dine.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I have a raw bar at home, but I find myself coming here every Sunday afternoon. It was fantastic to bring my family from Texas here; while they have great BBQ, they don't have fresh seafood like this. I've never had a mediocre meal here! This has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years, and I've never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious! The creamy garlic salad dressing is simply unbeatable, and the broth for the clams and small necks (made with white garlic) is the best I've ever had. Thank you!

My wife and I have been here numerous times. We've never had a bad experience here. Food is consistently excellent from appetizers to dessert. It's on the pricey side, but we're willing to pay for quality.

Best restaurant in the city of Canton, Ct. The waiting staff is excellent and the food is from this world. Make a point to stop, you won't regret it a bit.
