"A tiny bavarian pub. A very old school bavarian granny warmed up the canned goulash suop. You can buy it for 0,99 euro from the supermarket. They call this a daily soup for 3,5 euros, but it still tasted 99 cent bad. We could see inside the kitchen, and ... we wish we haven't seen how the tea was made und how the dishes weren't washed as it should be. We laugh a lot but don't go there."

Once you step into s'Beisl you'll feel at home. Connie and Wolfgang provide a warm atmosphere of good conversation, basic food which is full of flavour, and superb beer from the Hofbrauhaus Traunstein. After a day on the hills or in the saddle the Weissbier was excellent with a hint of ginger from the hops, served direct from the barrel, intant refreshment.Bratkartoffel mit Schinken, Zwiebel and Spiegelei, reached parts other meals failed to reach. If you're in Ruhpolding I recommend you drop in and enjoy the atmosphere and the beer.

We went for a refreshing glass of beer in s'Beisl after using Ruhpolding's Spa facilities (Vita Alpina). It's a relatively small pub/restaurant. The proprieter, Cornelia, was very welcoming and helpful. We ended up spending the entire evening there and had the local speciality "Eintopf" which was excellent. We highly recommend visitors to Ruhpolding to pay a visit to s'Beisl and sample the food and drink. It's a down to earth, welcoming and very enjoyable place.

Initially not too sure about going to s'Beisl as it looked closed from the outside, however, once inside, it's very welcoming and a great example of Bavarian hospitality.Popped in a couple of times for a beer (from the local Hofbrauhaus Traunstein) and some sausages. Food and drink were both very good but the star of the show was the owner, who is very helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit, especially after a day on the hills
