Had a birthday dinner here last November. Had been here previously and raved about food to my sons who joined us that night. Well they took down a wall that had separated the bar area from dining room. BIG mistake. Private party with a crummy/outrageously loud DJ going on and everyone else had to suffer through it. Couldn't hear each other talk or hear waiter and after drink order went in seriously contemplated leaving but everyone was hungry so we didn't. Food was great again but I would definitely call prior to leaving my house to see if another private function was going on. Really ruined the dinner and still would have if DJ was good LOL. I thought I had posted this just after the dinner...
I celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant last November. I had recommended the food to my two sons who joined us that night. Unfortunately, there was a private party with a very loud and unpleasant DJ that disrupted our dining experience. We couldn't hear each other or our waiter, and considered leaving after placing our drink order. Despite the noise, the food was still great. I would advise calling ahead to check for any private events before visiting. This experience really affected our dinner, and it would have been the same even if the DJ had been good. I initially thought I had shared this feedback right after the meal, but I actually posted it on TripAdvisor.
If you're into lobster, the lobster feast is a good deal. It's all-you-can-eat lobster (along with some other stuff in the buffet...clams, prime rib, peel&eat shrimp, salad, etc with the only downside being that you have to get all the lobster meat out yourself (cracking the shell, etc It can get a bit messy so be prepared to get your hands dirty. Overall, a good deal, especially if you can eat a lot. The room was a bit on the noisy side (but not unbearable) with trendy-type music playing in the background. Service was really good and the staff was very friendly. Since we got the buffet, it's a bit hard to judge the food but I would definitely go back.
my entree was great, cooked just as i asked for it, well seasoned, decent sized portion. appetizers however were sub par. I think the apps at places like fridays are better. they were not cooked well, and poorly executed. Also, although this should never determine the recommendation of a resteraunt, i felt like all the waiters/bus boys were on summer vacation from high school. If i'm paying a premium price for my food i feel like adults should be serving me. afterall blue' is not friendlys'

The food was excellent, their steaks are huge and well seasoned. We had the goat cheese pizza appetizer, very good. Blue is beautiful inside and very modern. The staff was very helpful and friendly, i'll definetly go back again.
THE LIGHTING IN THE MAIN ROOM SEEMED TO BE FROM THE DISCO ERA. BOTH MY WIFE AND I FOUND IT DISTRACTING AND ANNOYING. IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT, I WOUND RATE IT A REAL FIND. BUT DUE TO THAT, I WE WILL NOT RETURN.
i would definitely recommend this place. we had a great time, food was good, drinks were good. the staff made us feel special .. they even had a candle on cheesecake dessert and sang to my wife!
The food is great and it's right in our hometown. Love the losterfest its great but we miss your winterfest too!! We'll be back ty.

Food was fair but portions were small and overpriced I properly would not go back !
