Before returning from the Bergisch (land we decided to have an evening with fish. It should not be a fish bud, not a fast restaurant, no restaurant that keeps the mullet frozen for weeks. It should already be a veritable fish restaurant with large fish turnover, in which the likelihood of zero tends to receive fish taken from deep-cooling, which has previously been frozen, then refrozen, sprayed with water and again frozen around half the world. This is my time to visit. Maybe it was my poor German but we were basically ignored in a filled restaurant last night. After ordering appetizers which had lots of garlic butter in them, we wanted more bread to soak up the oil....Getting someone to pay attention to us was like a dentist pulling teeth even though the waitstaff was talking to plenty of people at the other tables. While the appetizers were well prepared, my wife's swordfish (a special of the day) was thin and dried out. My Fish Plate was also dried out. The venue is not located in the centre but not far from it either, in Köln-Mühlheim. Parking on the street is possible but not easy. They have an own parking lot which is not easy to find, check it out before going there. The have...a big outside and inside seating area. We sat inside. The room is quite large with a partial look into the kitchen. It can become noisy when well visited, e.g. on Saturday evenings. I had scallops and Lupo di Mare which was good. We had a Pinot Grigio and a Primitivo on the side which was good too. The service is normally quick, considering that the place was packed.

If you want to eat Mediterranean seafood and good fish, you have to visit this restaurant. Food are fresh and succulent. Service is excellent. Unal and Louis are the best waiters! The wine selection is great! I really recommend this restaurant! I stayed days...in Cologne and went there times! And always was very satisfied and enjoyed dining there! Not so great. Mediocre. Service staff rushed off their feet. Nice fish tanks to look at whilst you wait for service food. Nice atmosphere too. Disappointing though as always enjoy Italian eating experiences..this one leaves a bitter taste a hole in your pocket!

I've been with friends for dinner: many items are fried, parmesan cheese is everywhere (even with scampi), but it's possibile to ask for variation.
