Our new favorite Italian! From the beginning to the end we had a great experience yesterday. We were looking for something real that didn't change through the years, family business. ... We found it! We were received, had a table fast, even without reservation. The service was stellar, I am vegan, and the waitress knew exactly what she had to do (usually I have to explain what can/can not be too waiter and it will be tiresome) but she immediately took me with replacement without having something so efficient, detailed. Lived in Glendale my whole life and ALWAYS have wanted to come here! We absolutely loved it and will come back many more times! It's a Vintage Glendale Restaurant ! Very romantic and Italian inside! We sat at a booth that had a little lantern on the wall. We ordered an appetizer, the Fried Mozzarella and it was delicious! Our server was so kind..I wish I got his name.. an older gentleman who was so helpful. We ordered the Glendale Pizza and the Canelloni with a Side of Sausage we also got a salad that came with the meal which was very good and Minestone Soup that my husband loved the most! The food was Authentic and Delicious! I never get dessert but I couldn't help but get a cup of Spumoni...
We have been going to this family-run Italian restaurant for years. The pasta is just delicious, the lasagna is from this world. All dishes come with homemade bread, soup and salad (salad dressing also homemade). This Mainstay is located in the heart of Glendale near the Adler-Rock-Pza and the 2 210 motorways. Whether it is to go or takeout, you will love it
Delicious Italian food. I had the lasagna, which was a good sized portion and very tasty. Prices are fair and the service is friendly. Will definitely go again! Parking seems to be the weakest point (which isn't such a big deal) with parking on the street or the lot next door... So just be aware.
The food and service was the best ever. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. There was also a very welcoming older gentleman that brought us the bread to the table and kept checking on us as well. He was very nice. Thank you for the best food and awesome experience overall.
