Scarborough Beach Bar

Ok...... let 's get the elephant in the room out of the way....... This seems to be a place that always responds to customer feedback, but can be a love it, or loath it experience, so maybe a staff training around the 'Culture ' and what is expected of everybody who works here, should get everybody on the same page around the Customer experience. Now..... having said that. We visited for the first time tonight and loved the quirky and fun entrance to the bar. Staff were friendly whilst doing the neccessary covid checks. We were 15 mins too early for happy hour, but that was ok, because we had not known about happy hour from 5pm to 6pm anyway. Good drink selection, although once again, as in...

We had a work event here for 20 people from 4-6pm and everyone was really impressed! We hired out the Beachside Deluxe area which was cosy and had great views of the ocean. It was fairly quiet at that time on a Tuesday. The food was fantastic! We ordered various platters and everything was delicious! Loved the char-grilled bread with the meat and hommus platters. The pork belly and salt and pepper squid were amazing and the pizzas were great! Thanks guys, it was so nice to have an event where both the atmosphere and food were impressive.

scarborough beachbar is an excellent restaurant! the workers are so beautiful and really take the time to hear them. they are fantastic in catering for all nutritional requirements and they went beyond and beyond to find a suitable meal, with changes to my nutritional requirements. I cannot mistake the restaurant or the staff and I highly recommend eating it at the scarborough beach bar! it was a wonderful experience and I will be definitiw next time again!

Went on Anzac Day, service was friendly swift. Food was quite pleasant enjoyable. To the kitchen staff, please make sure the fruit labels are taken off the lemon before being cut served to customers. One star was taken off as a couple of cocktails, rosé food was unavailable when we tried to order it. Might be because they had a busy weekend? Otherwise, venue was very nice we sat on the balcony on a sunny day with the ocean view. Can’t ask for more! Reserva una mesa ahora

Fabulous cafe/restaurant with such a chilled vibe and warm positive service. The seafood is to die for we had the snapper, a bari-burger, lemon pepper fried squid and the fish'nchipsfirkiddies! Just sitting here on one of the most beautiful beaches with good food...for a while the world is a better place. Thank you

breathtaking venue, but with a close fit on a single barman with drinks and food orders underlined, while we tried to serve drinks with a child as a barassist and inexperienced waitress, which led to terrible service, we went out of lunch to another place in frustration.

We came here on a quiet weekday and got a great seat out on the balcony. Drinks were cold, food was good (new menu) and the staff were attentive. It gets very busy on the weekend and anytime the sun is out so be prepared. But overall a nice clean place for lunch.

The Hawaiian pizza was a little bland, pineapple was dry, no raspberry cordial for drinks. Chips very small, bar tenders grouped together only the manager was attentive. Chips did come out super fast. Reserva una mesa ahora

Perfect spot up on the balcony to watch the sun go down. Lively atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and backed up by some great seafood.
