Sadly the Gasthof Adler was closed so we tried this out as our second choice. Prices were higher and it was quite off the beaten path. It seemed well loved and was nearly full when we arrived just before 8pm. The waitress said the 3 of us (2 adults and a 4yo) could squeeze around the table for 2 if we wanted but the food would be a while coming as they were so busy. Menu was fairly small. We tried the Maultaschen with egg and cheese, which I found far too salty and regretted adding the cheese to the dish due to the taste. The side salad was very good. My wife and I just finished a superb meal in Schankwirtsschaft Wohlfahrt and after reading its reviews here on tripadvisor we decided we HAVE to give it it's right review!This restaurant is amazing!We are traveling in Germany for a week now, and this one is by far the best we ever had dinner in. The food was really delicious, and more important was really authentic (we were the only foreigners in the place), dishes were huge, fresh and very very good. My wife is on a gluten free diet, and the staff was very attentive, and fixed her an excellent meal. OH and the beer... My god their beer! Made by their own Brewery delicious and served in a unique huge cup.You have to try it!!!
I have eaten at this place three times over the last 12 months and each time has been a fantastic experience. The food is absolutely delicious and covers all Bavarian classics. Service is friendly and the beer (served from traditional steins!) is one of the best in the region. If you have a chance, come here on Tuesday evenings for traditional Bavarian folk music and the cosy atmosphere of the Schankwirtschaft.
We ordered 5 steaks and cheese-spaetzle for the five of us with 2 beers and some mineral water. Mineral water not available, - got offered tap water and consequently served 2 carafeWhen the bill came, Euro 138:00, the tap water was listed as "diverse drinks" Euro 5:00 (for tap water)Find another place treats people right. This is a rip-off !!!

This seemly off the beaten path restaurant offers great food,(albeit limited offerings), spectular crafted Beer with a friendly, charming & warm atmosphere. It is well worth seeking out. We had dinner with a German couple who could not say enough about how much they enjoyed their time there. High praise indeed.

we went there on our way home from skiing and had such a great time. Fresh salad and great local food accompanied by tasty local beer. Highly recommended
