we were back here with four people on a Sunday night, the januar ended to enjoy the crispy and fresh curse before the cursed time ends. the “Schaumburger Hof” in horsten is approx. 2 km from bad nenndorf and is therefore easy to reach on foot from bad nenndorf. the well-maintained rustic restaurant area consists of several rooms, with partly still charflichem character. as we knew that the “Schaumburger Hof” is almost always booked at the weekend, we have already reserved several days before. that was also good, as we could see during our inestimacy that some guests had no more space and had to go back. so make sure to reserve! yes, that was a stark ding on 12.11.2016!at our last visit a year ago, eating was excellent, except for a slightly salted duck and the sose tasted fad (also fit to the pork). Today we have arrived 15 minutes, late and we immediately apologised for it. We have only briefly informed us, now there is no more (we had reserved for 13.00). after 10 minutes of carnival time, the chef has taken the ducks out of the often to fry....The restaurant is open until 14.30 clock and was occupied only with 5-6 tables. disappointing how we were fed. in this small place you do not suspect such a restaurant. However, the restaurant is always very well visited so that a reservation is recommended.We like to go here, because the steaks are tasteful, of size and quality just perfect. they had the guts tonight and they were also excellent. the portions are really very large. priced we are of course no longer at the level of a village inn, but rather good and tasty eating and paying for it a little more than spoiling the appetit with bad eating. I've been to the schaumburger hof for a business dinner. place recommended by a company of havever, very close to the hotel where I stayed. The place is very spartan but all in all not unpleasant. I tried a "wedding soup", with meatballs, very pleasant for the winter climate, a green pepper fillet with good quality meat and well prepared and as a vanilla ice cream dessert on a moose of berries. Positive experience.
if I visit the oppositely related and friends, a visit to the schaumburger hof must not be missing, and this time I was not disappointed. eating was great, as always when I was there. I pulled a point because a waiting period of 55 minutes at a little operation was a little bit long. but I will not let myself be deterred from another visit.
as nenndorfer we were already some paints in the schaumburger hof. we were always served nicely and friendly. the portions are more than sufficient. But you should always bring some time. Depending on the rise of the court, it may take three-quarter hours before it comes to eat.
