Schilling Beer Co.

Schilling is one of the best places in northeast for quality craft beer. Their selection is top notch and brewing quality millions of miles away from the typical breweries with 8 IPAs and a pale ale on the menu for 12 months out of the year. We originally came in December of 2023 for the first time and were beyond impressed. We came back in August 2024 with our dog to learn that dogs were not allowed so we were unable to sit down and have a beer, nonetheless, we grabbed some cans (cried slightly) and were a-okay haha. We had a great experience here, but my big complaint is the bathrooms. There was a “mens” room, and then “women’s/family”. ?? It’s 2024- why are we still lumping “family bathrooms” in with the women’s only and not the men’s? Put a changing table in the men’s AND women’s rooms, and advertise both as family. A 13 year old boy walked in the women’s room right ahead of me while I was carrying my daughter, who didn’t make it to the toilet. It was pretty infuriating having to wait 15 min for him to come out when he could’ve used the other restroom, HAD it have been labeled differently. These things make all the difference in dining experiences.

Finally made the time to get here and it did not disappoint. We didn't go with the intention of eating...which is good because the wait was about 1.5hrs ???? (You can order from a food truck as well which is a nice option for the tasting room!!! The tasting room staff was friendly and attentive. We got the couch with was nice for our 3yr old son to relax on after being in the car for hours leaf and mountain peeping. Patrons who had been there before were friendly and thebeer was very good! We will return again if we can swing the trip.

Beautiful setting, we sat outdoors on the deck overlooking the river. The menu is small and there is no kids menu, but the food was delicious and there are a variety of pizzas which makes it kid friendly. Homemade Mac and cheese, pretzel twist with beer cheese, and maple/sausage/jalepeno pizza were our favorite items. Relaxed vibe, great service, excellent beer which is the main reason for going. Over priced. Sat us at a table where the floor is pitched at least 1/4” per foot so our seats were slanted. Our table was tucked in the back by a pizza oven and a waitstaff station…not very intimate…got to listen to some woke staff’s discussion. Lousy layout, overpriced pizza. Over priced beer. Food menu lacking. Would caution people with accessibility issues with the slanted floors.

On the River, in a small town, my family stopped her based on how well it was rated. It did not disappoint. The beer selection was diverse and everything I tried I liked. The poutine, the hummus, the bratwurst, and the pizza were all delicious. Cool place with great food and beer.

Great experience in northern NH. I think the taproom experience was really well designed to introduce you to Schilling’s line of beers. The setting is really unique and quintessential cozy New England. Recommend for bachelor’s parties or guy trips.

Five billion stars. I love this place. The beer is absurdly sophisticated and elegant. Great pizza and a view of the river that can't be beat.

Unfortunately we were unable to eat there after our 4 hour ride due to the fact they don’t update their website!!!!!!!!
