Ich war am Silvesterabend dort essen, und obwohl wir nur gerade zwei Veganer waren an diesem Abend (sie hatten nur für Silvester offen, da eigentlich Ferien waren), wurden wir auf höchstem Niveau verköstigt. Ich hätte niemals damit gerechnet, so lecker zu essen der Koch hat sich wirklich selbst übertroffen, und das für zwei Gäste! Auch die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend, und das Ambiente in dieser Burg einfach ganz speziell. Hier werde ich bestimmt wieder mal essen gehen! Auf jeden Fall auch sehr geeignet für Familienfeiern oder Geschäftsessen. Es hat viele Parkplätze beim Schloss, und von Brugg aus fährt ein Bus in 7 Minuten zum Dorfplatz, von wo aus es noch 8 Gehminuten zum Schloss sind....
Even though a part of our family lives in nearby Lenzburg, this was our very first time to visit the historic Habsburg castle, ancestral place of the famous Austrian Habsburg clan. There is not that much to see in the castle itself, but you can climb up to the top of the tower. Quite a few of the rooms are set up as part of the restaurant and it would be nice to experience a meal here. This time we just came for coffee and dessert. We came during tea time (Nachmittag). We did not have a good experience w.r.t. the food. To give benefits of the doubt, maybe the food is better during other times. The only good thing is the setting/ambiance, but then again, we only sat in the garden during a normal sunny day Food-wise, it would have been a one star, but the service of the staff was good enough to merit one star Very overpriced food and drinks (e.g. for tap water).
We were there for Easter brunch with friends. It was super delicious. Huge buffet: various breads and rolls, croissants and plaited bread, salmon, cold cuts, cornflakes, fruits and desserts. However, the highlight for us was the roast beef plate with potato gratin, vegetables and fried eggs. The roast beef was soooo tender and with the fine hollondaise sauce... Mmhhhmmm

We ordered two cups of tea and two cakes, yesterday evening. Unfortunately, in the evening we've got stomach problems and we are sure that is due to those cakes. Probably, they were not fresh enough. My friend had to go to a doctor at the end. Very terrible accident .
bad service, the elder cream to sweet and tasted artificial and much too expensive, the personal spends too much time with the input on the tablet as to take care of the guests.
After waiting 20 mins to be served, we decided to go somewhere else. I have no idea why we were ignored, but I guess it is typical aargau hospitality
Very friendly and beautiful location. They offered a very tasty and healthy vegan menu for new years eve.
