Schlüssel - Reserva de mesa

My first visit to Schlüssel in Oberwil though I have been in the area many times. We were a big group and were welcomed with some very interesting cold aperitifs/starters. The place is really elegant, modern and delicate and the atmosphere among the staff was very friendly and serviceminded. We had a 4-course menu and it was simply fantastic tastes and very delicately presented. Salmon varieties, fresh pasta with oranges, veal filet and chocolate . Absolutely top class thorugh the whole meal. I will come back and enjoy more in this restaurant with my wife and family when/if I can. A very well performed dinner with excellent service. Highly recommended and a strong five buttons from me.

Ein weiterer erholsamer und wunderschöner Abend im Schl ssel, der unseren Hochzeitstag feiert. Hoher Standard an freundlichem Service von den Suters und ihrem Team, die sich um alle unsere Bedürfnisse kümmern. Ausgezeichnete Auswahl an Weinen auf der Speisekarte. Wir hatten einen schönen Apero im Garten mit einer appetitlichen Auswahl an Amuse Bouches. Wir haben drinnen in herrlichem Ambiente gegessen und das sommerliche Menü mit südafrikanischen Scampi Pilz-Ravioli mit Bries Kalbfleisch mit Gemüse und Kartoffel-Parmesan-Schaum genossen. Sehr zu empfehlen einen Besuch!

We were invited by our friends. Very well-kept restaurant with appealing modern furnishings and lovingly selected decoration. The service was very courteous and the meals excellent, both tasty and representative. The wine recommendation was also excellent. There is one point deducted: the menu symphony ends with a tasty muffin, which is served in a lot of aluminum foil in the shape of a swan (per person). A real waste of this valuable raw material. Preislich war das Mittagsmenü auf 18 GM ausgerichtet, geschmacklich allerdings nicht. Wir haben bei 15 GM schon deutlich interessanter gegessen. Wir sind uns nicht sicher, ob das ein Ausrutscher über mehrere Gänge hinweg war, da vielleicht auch nicht der Chef selbst anwesend war? Die natürlich freundliche Gastgeberin hat einem zwar jedes Mal den Eindruck vermitteln, man habe jetzt etwas ganz Besonderes auf dem Teller, was geschmacklich dann aber doch eher enttäuschend war. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it a lot. A 4 course menu, rather big servings, matched wine and perfect service. The nice timing between servings. Certainly we come back in summer, as they serve in the garden.

I was able to redeem my birthday present in this great restaurant. Stylish atmosphere, super friendly staff and a boss who makes you feel comfortable. Absolutely upscale cuisine yet a casual atmosphere.
