bamberg is not only one of the most beautiful smaller cities in Germany, but has many rustic restaurants in the city center. they have the quality of choice. are recommended to admire guest houses at the dom. with excellent regional cuisine and a large selection of beer as well as a friendly and nice service is the hospitable king here. also the somewhat tastefully completely different and very needy schlenkerla smoke beer is offered. the service says a few words when ordering – so good! but it should be like a hospitable city, just trying.
Unterhalb vom Dom befindet sich das Lokal. Im Aussenbereich vor dem Haus waren die Tische schön dekoriert und der Service war sehr freundlich. Achtung die Portionen sind sehr groß!!!! Unser Gericht gab es auch in „klein“ einfach fragen. (Empfehlung für die Damen) Hinter dem Haus gibt es noch einen kleinen Biergarten, im Sommer ein schönes kühles Plätzchen. Die Nudeln waren selbstgemachte und frisch, das wurde uns mit einer feinen Bärlauch Sauce serviert sehr fein. Können das Lokal empfehlen!
My meal at this restaurant was extremely satisfying, and I found it to be very delicious as well. I had the pork shank with mashed potatoes and some mashed peas as well and it really was good, as I love German food, this place hit the spot. You can sit out on the street which has a nice view or there's a great back patio which is a little more intimate. The beer here is great as well and they are famous for a beer that taste like smoked bacon. Try it.
We just happened to find this place near the dom and thought the ribs on the special of the worth a try. It turned out to be just delicious.Dining and sharing a table on the sidewalk was just what we needed when the temperature reached a 10 years high by the end of May. Nice ambience much like your typical German Beer halls and it worked out great for us to have an enjoyable evening in Bamberg.

already in order and delivery of the food there were irritations: 2 dishes ordered by us were about 16.00 a.m. I then decided for chicken carving with reiscurry and got chicken carving with pommes frittes. note of the waiter: "reach is out. pommes are also delicious!" I am annoyed now that I didn't let the court go back.The taste of the dishes was average.
Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die Getränke kamen sehr schnell, das Essen ha wegen einer größeren Feier etwas gedauert. Wir hatten Ente. Das Fleisch war sehr zart und weich. Auch die Knödel, das Blaukraut und die Soße sehr fei und gut abgestimmt.
Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert; das ist immer angezeigt am Woe in Bamberg Der Empfang war etwas kühl .. die Servicekraft war dann aber sehr freundlich u. aufmerksam. Das Essen (3 x Schäuferla u. einmal Sellerieschnitzel. Alles war lecker!
Nice Restaurant, good food, friendly service. Great value - very reasonably priced. This place is in the center of town and close to all the tourist places. Nice and covered biergarten in the back.
