A place to relax, have fun, eat well and drink, chat nicely in a relaxed atmosphere with friends and family. Right on the Ilmenau and, which is particularly practical, very close to the pedestrian area Am Sande, where many buses hold, lies Schröder's beer garden. Here you can find far more than beer drinks... there is a small but fine map with small dishes, and a small, fine selection of drinks. Dogs are as welcome as two-legged. If you like, you can go canoe or pedal boat, pre-book is possible. There are even regular artists (comedy, music, readings... So there's always a reason to go to Schröders. And it's fast....
Great! A great restaurant, right in Ilmenau. At dinner, watch the water and enjoy the time in nature. Before or after a round with the pedal boat or canoe on the Ilmenau and enjoy the great surroundings. I look forward to the summer to turn some rounds with the canoe or pedal boat and then enjoy a nice cold cola and an ice cream. It is nice that there is the store and there is also the possibility for small water sports. Very nice location, you feel like on holiday, even as a resident.
