It's a pity when it's open until 8:30 p.m. according to these entries , the guest garden is almost full and a guest who wants a small meal at 7:30 p.m. from the adjoining seminar house, which is closed today, is turned away with the words, there would be no more food today because so many people were there all day and obviously still are they are also being entertained! . It would have been nice to be offered at least one soup or a salad or a quick, small dish in the remaining hour. So I remain after 6,000 km of travel and only a small breakfast in my stomach... Unfortunately THAT is not hospitality... ... and why does the kitchen close an hour !!! earlier?
Were there again after 2 years to eat. Unfortunately we were received very resolutely, I actually wanted a cordon blue but got schnitzel, didn't want it at all, but when they brought it to me the second time I accepted it, gnashing my teeth. Honestly would have preferred to leave it alone. I have to say about the French fries, I have no idea what kind they were, soggy, brown and old oil. My husband ordered Zürcher Rahmschnetzeltes with Rösti, sorry guys but the meat was extremely tough and the Rösti was mushy. Have returned everything. At least we didn't have to pay for it. Therefore 1 star. Sorry guys, that's our opinion.
Birgit and Alexander run this charming country inn with love and joy. The menu is small but nice. The chef Alexander cooks himself and everything is fresh. There are no finished products here. The beer garden is cozy and Birgit and her team also ensure a feel-good atmosphere in the living room. Reservation recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
