Came here on a whim because I was running an errand in the area and needed to eat lunch. It was a Sunday, and the place was practically empty except for one other party. There was a special displayed outside that caught my attention, which was $25 for a roll and soup of your choice combo (includes chips, coleslaw and a pickle slice). Before leaving San Francisco, we decided to stop by this chowder house, and it turned out to be a great choice. With the weather turning chilly, a warm bowl of clam chowder was just what we needed. We preferred the Boston style over the Manhattan, but I recommend trying both if you can. The baked crab dip was absolutely delicious! The restaurant itself was clean and beautifully decorated.
I almost never write critical reviews, but the lobster roll from this place has only maybe 20% real lobster meat, the rest of the lobster chunks are simply imitation lobster meat made with filler seafood. I 've never had lobster roll that 's made up of this much filler meat before.Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the Boston clam chowder is thick and delicious.
Came here for a quick lunch, and definitely was not disappointed. This place is beautiful for grabbing a quick bite to eat. I got the sandwich soup special for like $20-25, which was a great price for the portion add ons, it came with a lobster roll, potato chips, pickles, coleslaw, clam chowder soup. The staff was very sweet attentive.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is clean and offers plenty of seating options. They serve chowder in four different sizes, with the $14 option being a full meal. The bathrooms and tables are well-maintained as well. Parking is conveniently located near Union Square.
Good restaurant in a great location right by chinatown. A good value for 25 dollars for a cup of soup and a lobster roll. You also got chips and a pickle with it. It was a slow day and not hardly anyone there so not much noise and waitress was pretty attentive. Definitely worth a try if in the area.
A satisfying meal at an incredible price. Scott’s Connecticut Style Lobster Roll was the perfect treat. Crunchy chips, coleslaw and a side of creamy Boston Style Clam Chowder was part of their award-winning recipe. Great dine-in experience.
Great food. The clam Chowder could've been a big more creamy and thick but could not complain at all about flavor. Had clam in every bite. The lobster roll also was amazing. Best I've tried thus far.

Excellent food in a great little bistro. Love the chowder and lobster roll lunch. A must go to place for people needing a great chowder!
The menu is limited and quite pricey. However, the crab cake sandwich and New England clam chowder were tasty.
