There aren't many sushi places that offer lunch options, so my business partner recommended this one. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The menu is extensive with a ton of choices, and everything we tried was excellent. I had an Ahi tuna dish that was out of this world. The pressed salmon was fantastic, the peppers were wonderful, and the miso was perfect—everything was great, really. The simple sushi options were also awesome. The service was friendly and attentive, making for an overall enjoyable experience. I definitely plan to return. As a little joke, when I walk into a sushi restaurant, I often ask, "How's the fish?" Well, it was fantastic!
Here's the run down--This is definitely a neighborhood sushi spot. My boyfriend and I made last minute dinner plans and decided on this spot. We didn't have a reservation and the place looked moderately crowded at 7 pm and we were seated at a high top. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls and they were good the sushi was fresh and tasty but nothing insane. I don't know if we should ordered more but it is on the pricier side. Maybe next time I'll go but I feel like there's far better places on the west side for fresh sushi for half the price.
Very Good Food but small portions and a bit over priced, would recommend maybe once but not if you're looking for something more affordable and more filling, but of course if you have very Deep Pockets for lunch or dinner then you are at the right place! You can definitely find a better quality of food at a better price within the LA area without any problem.. Again the food was very good here.
best sushi in LA. I don’t even like sushi much, but I crave this place. the sunset roll 10/10. salmon truffle.. melts in your mouth ? literally butter. the rolls are so unique compared to any sushi place i’ve ever been and FRESH. never experienced a “fishy” taste before. the atmosphere is a vibe with good music always. the staff is so friendly. highly highly recommend

Angie the owner was soooo nice! She was so thoughtful and notice that my kid isn’t a big eater and made sure to make him a special plates.Thanks to her and the chefs my 3 years old son is now eating row fish!Absolutely by far the best restaurant we ate at! Everyone is so kind, welcoming and caring!!We didn’t want to leaveI highly recommend
Been to many sushi restaurants in LA and Seabutter definitely has that ambiance, food and service. They recently opened so definitely try this place out. Absolutely love this place!!! Seabutter is likely synonymous with disappointment. The prices are high, and the place was not clean. The staff was unprofessional, particularly the manager, who had a round face and a forced smile. It's wise to be cautious if you decide to dine here. Food rating: 1/5.
We tried the tasting menu, and it was fantastic. Every dish was delicious, and the fish was exceptionally fresh and buttery—truly some of the best quality fish I've experienced in Los Angeles. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Food rating: 5/5.

Amazing sushi! We absolutely loved it, as did the kids. Highly recommend it really the best we have had. Staff great too! Super find.
