I absolutely love this place! We decided to stop by for an early morning breakfast that allowed dogs, and we were thrilled with our choice. The crab omelettes were incredible, made with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions at a great price. We couldn't resist trying the (dangerously delicious) Bloody Mary as well. The owners took the time to come over and chat with us, making us feel very welcomed in their new restaurant. We also had the perfect table with a lovely view of the water. The owner, Mindy, is a top notch rockstar chef! Seadogs has some of the best food I've had in Newport! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we're never disappointed. Mindy has turned the old bay 839 into an amazing restaurant and lounge when I thought all hope was lost. Family date nights, occasional life music, and you'll never miss a sporting event. She's so creative with her food and drinks, has awesome daily specials and what a great view! I highly recommend this to everyone!
We absolutely love fish, and the seafood platter we ordered here was the best we've ever had. The food is outstanding—truly perfect. Other restaurants should strive to match the quality of the dishes served here. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. If we lived closer, we would dine here every day. Our experience at Seadogs Restaurant has definitely given us a reason to return to the west coast. The area is beautiful, and Seadogs makes it even more enjoyable.
Loved this place. Our dog was welcome, we were treated like regulars, and the food was great. Our server was clearly overworked but she made sure to get back to us frequently. I'm terrible with names but the waitress with all of the tattoos was the biggest reason we went back twice on a 4 day trip!

We had a great lunch on the terrace while visiting! You have a beautiful view of the water and parasols for some shades on a hot day. Large beer selection. Good local options. The lobster was delicious. Good bungalow. Many big lobster bites. Light on the Mayo. Everything was delicious!
I give this restaurant a 5 for its service, fantastic drinks, and great atmosphere. The ambiance is really enjoyable! However, while the seafood pasta dish tastes good, it is a bit oily. I think it would benefit from a salad on the side.
Food good flavors, nice breakfast choices, I loved the crab omelet and my husband liked the gravy (over biscuits) Very reasonable prices for the area GREAT views Service was slow this morning but we'll still happily visit again
