Seafood Tale Fish & Chips Cafe

I live handy and have been looking for a good place for fish and chips.Low and behold, I came across this shop.The food is fabulous. We have been a number of times and the fish and chips are great.The shop is scrupulously clean and the owners are staff are friendly and helpful.I don't want to tell you all too much as J found this place and want it for myself.

Had the seafood basket and really enjoyed everything in it. Light and fresh with options for battered or crumbed on pretty much everything. The food is very good, but what got us over the line to an 'excellent' rating was the cleanliness and customer service. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Lovely little find in Birkdale.

I drive past 2 other fish and chip shops for their fabulous food! Light tasty crumbs .. never oily and fresh fluffy white fish fillets.. yum! Oh and the beer batter chips rival any gourmet restaurant. We also get their finely cut coleslaw like spun fairy floss .. It goes really well with the meal. Lovely owners provide great service also.

I have lived in the Redlands for more than 35 years and I have tried most of the Fish & Chips Cafes from Redland Bay to Wynnum & Manly. Seafood Tale has the best Crumbed Fish & Beer Battered Chips that I have tasted. Service is always on time and the family run business is always friendly and a joy to have my weekly Fish & Chip fix. We have tried many different fish and chip shops in the Redlands area, looking for consistent quality - Seafood Tale stands out on top. Their seafood is always fresh, the chips crisp and the service, friendly and courteous. You won't be disappointed!

Our family ordered cod, calamari, seafood sticks, dim sims and chips. Everything was fresh, cooked well and tasted great. I would have loved the calamari to have been fatter but it was nice to eat regardless. I recommend to all.

Love our seafood and have now found a little gem for a great meal. Mum had a burger and said it was one the best she has had recently. I had the Barra and tried some chicken wings. Both went down a treat.

Yummy and crispy fish and chip. Food is fresh here and there are many types of fishes for you to be selected. Staffs are friendly and they can give you some advices if needed. Overall is very good Reserva una mesa ahora

Love this fish and chip shop, it's one of the best in the area. Food is always fresh, cooked when you order and the service is excellent. Happy to support such a wonderful local business!

came here after jot visiting for 2 or 3 yrs due to rude service, the owner remebered me and wasnt any more polite. however importantly the chips were great
