Checked in for our 8:25pm reservation through the Disney app at 8:15pm. Walked around the gift shop and was sent a text stating to return to the restaurant as our table was “ready.” Once I arrived, I was told by the front receptionist that it’ll be 5 mins. We returned after 5 mins past and was told 4 more minutes and was told they accidentally sat someone under our reservation. We stood inside for approx. 10 mins and was finally taken back to a table to find a dirty table, a puddle of food on the floor and food/large crumbs on every chair, left by the previous family. At this time, it was 8:55pm. We went back to the front of the restaurant and was asked to wait there. Someone else came back...
Visited Sebastian 's on 9/14/24. All the reviews I read said this was a great place. It did not disappoint. The food is excellent and the service was better than many of the other Disney restaurants I 've dined at. The Caribbean Beach is considered a moderate resort so it doesn 't get the attention of some of the fancier places like Ohana 's at the Poly. In my opinion it 's better and Ohana 's. Sebastian 's Bistro is a real hidden gem at Disney World and should not be taken for granted. My wife was worried that being caribbean style the food would be spicy and she doesn 't do spicy... Wonderful new addition to Disney's dining options! The dining room is beautiful, the view is great, and the food is amazing! The pull apart rolls a perfect appetizer (try the guava butter, you won't regret it) and the skirt steak is perfect. Mo was our server and was delightful, great recommendations and very attentive. UPDATE: Five years later and Sebastian's is still amazing. Now it's family style and I think that's even better. Be sure to try the pork and the steak. They also have good options for those with dairy allergies. Interestingly, we got the same server from five years ago, Mo. And he's just as amazing as he was back then. We definitely recommend!
Best kept secret. We can’t gate-keep on this place any longer. Truly the best value on property. We’ve been several times and it has always been an exceptional experience. We’ve will continue to make time for Sebastian’s when visiting Orlando, regardless of whether or not we’re visiting Disney World. Special thanks to Laura for representing the magic that is Disney. Me and my husband went for his birthday on August 14, and we had a positive experience. I particularly liked the salad and roasted broccolini. Our server had great energy and walked us through the menu. The portions are just right. I liked the decor and there was not much wait time after checking in on the Disney app.
