We love to support our local eateries. Plus, with it being New Year 's Eve, we wanted to find a nice place that we could walk to to avoid the crazies. Well. Second City Bistro seemed to fit the bill. The ambiance and decorations are great. Look at some of the pictures of the hanging holiday balls and lights from the ceiling along with the over-sized presents hanging on the walls. Definitely looks the part. We were greeted right away and our reservation for a specific table was fulfilled. Thank you. Our waiter was very good but, you could tell almost immediately, that the wait-staff was stressed. After observing for a while, I believe that they could have used one more person to help out and...
Parking available in adjacent lot and garage; given choice of where to sit; server could have been more attentive as we had to flag her down to request bread, get drink refills and to get check even though there were only a few customers; ordered Caesar salad and the fish and chips and baby back ribs-food was very tasty and portions large enough for take home left-overs; good value for cost, taste and portion size.
The first couple of times here were good. The last three times has raised a flag for us. They do not seem to acknowledge we have made a reservation. We must wait, we ask for standard seating, the want us at the high. Then the worse, we liked their ribs from the first visit, last three visits, burnt ribs. We don't like sending food back, this last time we did let them know.
The atmosphere and vibe was very good . Loved the service we got and the food was delicious . The only issue was the limited menu and the portion of the food. Both of our plates were really small

Nice vibe. Service was friendly and well timed. Food was very average. When you can’t do a cheese plate well you know there are issues. Risotto and fish blah. I hoped for better.
Food was great and they were very accommodating with requests to modify menu items. Atmosphere was excellent as well...cozy seating and our group was able to talk easily.
Great date night spot we always forget to go here but when we do we always wonder why we don’t go more because it is really good
Amazing service by Cesar and delicious food! The six of us all enjoyed the cheese boards and our meals immensely.

The food was was luck warm when bought out to us. Service was terrible took almost 3hrs for dinner!
Dinner was great. Unfortunately I don’t remember my servers name but he was outstanding!!
