Second Story - Hotel Belamar

Our reservation was for 12:15pm, party of 5 and a highchair on Xmas day. They were not very busy so the staff was all of 3 people. We ordered some food for the toddler (chicken strips with fries) and the cinnamon rolls for starters. It didn't come until 1:00pm! Suffice it to say it was rough since its hard to keep a hungry toddler busy for all that time! There is no reason for the food to take so long! When our sandwiches finally showed up we were starving! I have to say the food was good or I would have given them only 1 star. Although...they use the same overcooked chicken strips for the child's dish as well as the chicken and waffles. Why over cook/deep fry that chicken??? Note to managem...

Free valet parking; had Christmas Day dinner, so only one server was working that day; despite this, the service was attentive and efficient; each of our meals were very tasty and filling. Even though the dining area was full, the noise level was pleasantly low to allow for intimate conversation.

I enjoyed eating at restaurants where food quality is a focus an concern. My breakfast was tasted good and prepared well. The service was good and quick.

This is a neighbor hood gem. The food is of good quality and the servers are attentive. I enjoyed my dining at this restaurant.
