I recently had the pleasure of dining at Secreto Kitchen in Brookhaven, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One of the standout dishes of the night was the special; the mixed skewer kebab. It was absolutely incredible! The kebabs were perfectly marinated and grilled to juicy perfection. Sunday Brunch for my partners bday. Small group party of 6. Food was excellent, not one complaint among the 7 8 different dishes we ordered. Service was the absolute pits. We sat at our table for 20+ minutes before we were even acknowledged and at that point it was the host who came out and had to bring us water. Another 10+ minutes went by before our server comes out and at this point we were ready to order everything because we had already been there so long. We booked a reservation 4 days in advance for a large party and quite frankly felt like they simply weren't prepared. It was my mom's birthday and for a party of 15, we had 1 waiter who also acted as our bartender. He was obviously overwhelmed. We kept having to flag him down and could tell he was visibly frustrated. He seemed unsure of how to take our orders, and the overall service was just poor. We ordered both appetizers and entrees, but there was no rhyme or reason to how the food was coming out. July 2024 Update: 1) It seems that all of the old staff are gone, including the chef. I 'm not sure where the old staff went. Over the past 3 years, they 've been great. 2) We ordered food advertised as having feta cheese. The food came out with goat cheese. When we brought this to management 's attention we received a short lecture about how cows and goats both produce feta cheese. 3) I ordered a steak to be cooked medium. I received it well-done. It was very chewy. 4) The potatoes I ordered were cold. 5) We ordered a belini (drink). This used to be one of our favorite brunch spots. Something changed with staff in recent months, though and that might include cooks. We usually order chicken biscuit, chicken and waffles, and deviled eggs. Normally it’s all really good, and the staff is always super attentive/professional. Today, however, it took an abnormally long time for our order to get put in (it wasn’t super busy today). All of our pieces of bacon were burnt, and there was still egg shell on our deviled eggs. First- time! Highly recommend It was outstanding! Our server Brittany knocked out out of the park with service and recommendations for the 'must try '. Bang bang shrimp and the cornbread! Seared scallops and pork tenderloin were incredible. For pork, my fav if to have a little fruit jam, and the marvelous Brittany recommended their raspberry preserve/ spread! HEAVENLY! The overall experience was a 3 outta 10. The food was delicious. However, the service was below satisfactory. There was only one person working. He was the waiter, bartender, and host. He this young man didn't have the help he needed and the staff did not help him. The manager was requested to resolve the issue that was explained. She politely took the issue and blamed the waiter when she could have sent other staff members to assist with our party. This was highly unacceptable. My best friend and I eat here every Wednesday evening, all summer long. The quality of food and staff NEVER disappoints and is constantly better than other restaurants in the area. There’s always exciting new wines and food specialties that we look forward to each week!

I was expecting to have a unique dinner here but the decor reminded me of a hotel restaurant and the food wasn't up to par. It reminded me of very average food you can get at any restaurant or something you would find in a hotel restaurant. Lastly it is very expensive.
