For our dinner, we started with the bang bang shrimp and the beet salad, both of which were packed with flavor and delicious. I opted for the special as my main course—a salmon dish with snow crab, shiitake mushrooms, and sweet potato gnocchi in a white wine herb cream sauce, topped with Parmesan. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the sweet potato gnocchi complemented the seafood! My friend chose the grouper special, which was pan-seared and served with black risotto, roasted yellow peppers, and topped with jumbo shrimp; it was equally delightful! I also tried their mac and cheese as a side, but it was just average.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding! Chef Khalid (I hope I spelled that correctly) truly put his heart into every dish. The Shrimp and Grits were rich and full of flavor, the Steak was cooked to perfection, and the chicken and waffles were so good that they didn’t need any additional sauce thanks to the incredible caramel butter. The chicken breast was perfectly crispy and juicy. And then came dessert… WOW. The warm carrot cake topped with cream cheese frosting had us going back for seconds. Five stars for an outstanding experience! We visited for brunch and had made a reservation for four at 11:30. We arrived a little early and were seated immediately. Our server, E.B., was honest, respectful, and attentive without being overbearing. Chef Khaleed's dishes left us truly impressed with their rich flavors and beautiful presentation. We ordered the steak and grits, chicken and waffles, and shrimp, all of which were fantastic. We couldn't resist getting a second slice of the delicious carrot cake for dessert. The Peach Bellini and French-pressed coffee were perfect finishing touches to our meal.
We came here for the Valentine’s Day special and the food was awful and the service was mediocre at best. We didn’t have silverware after each course so our meals got cold. The wine we ordered came out late. They put the tables so close to one another which made it awkward to have a conversation with my partner. The food was not up to par especially because we’ve gone there before and we’re so impressed with their regular menu. I regret going here for our Valentine’s Day dinner. And not to mention we spent $220 and went home hungry.

I had a wonderful dinner at Secretos last night, where I savored the pecan salad and braised pork tenderloin, while my son enjoyed the Wagyu burger. I paired my meal with a glass of Malbec. The atmosphere and service were exceptional. The food was delightful and arrived quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of a wait for a table, though I have a feeling that won’t last long as more people find out about this hidden gem. Bravo! Service: Dine-in
I recently dined at Secreto for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations. We tried the chicken and waffles, the chicken biscuit, and the French toast. I particularly appreciated the nice addition of bacon and fruit that accompanied the brunch dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our server was extremely attentive. I will definitely be coming back!
My wife ordered the wagyu burger, and she absolutely loved it. I took a bite, but since she prefers her meat well-done, it wasn’t really to my taste. The restaurant’s atmosphere was perfect for us; by 7:30, it was buzzing with a lively crowd, and our enthusiastic server enhanced the wonderful vibe. We will definitely be coming back!
The food here is amazing! The steak was exceptionally tender, and the cornbread was delightful! I highly recommend the fried chicken too; the crust was perfectly crispy. Although the prices are a bit steep, the quality is definitely worth it! It's a great place for a romantic evening out.

The menu has recently been revamped, and I've loved every addition. I look forward to future updates and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're in Brookhaven. A special thanks to my wonderful server, Maurice Thompson!
