Love this fish and chippery.. They make great hamburgers and the best potato cakes & chips that I've ever had in Melbourne.. The chips & potato cakes are crispy, not greasy and taste gooooood.. I believe they use quality veggie oil.. I worked in fish & chip shop in my younger years & can still tell the difference between good & bad. The service is great too. The owner is always thoughtful, adding an extra potato cake, or lollies for the kids. His staff are awesome too, as they serve you with a smile.. He must pay them well as its not an easy job. You've gotta try this place if you're in this little local suburb
If we are going to eat fish n chips on a lazy Friday or Saturday night, we expect them to be good quality and well cooked. Not those fish and chips that are dripping in oil and go soggy. Having spent 6 months testing the local eateries, the Seddon Fish and Chip Shop is definitely the clear winner. They always have the oil heated to the right temperature so that the fish and chips are crispy. It's a winner. This is now officially our local fish and chip shop.
Favourite fish and chips in the area, they are always good, we are very fussy after coming from NZ with our fish and chips and we are glad to find an amazing local one
Great fish and chip shop the best around. Everything cooked fresh and tasted great. Thank god there are still good traditional f and c shops out there. Love this place

We have swapped fish and chips a few times over the last few years but always end up back at Seddon Fish & Chips on Victoria Street.
Great, friendly, fast service food was excellent. Chips & flake were well drained & steak S/W with the lot was a pleasure to eat
