to go there regularly with a friend of glarus. the servicemen are very friendly and normally eating is excellent for a reasonable price. last time, although I decided to enjoy a venison stew named rehpfeffer once in a dae. I love the strong taste of red wine sauce with delicate meat pieces, usually soaked from the sauce. but unfortunately the meat was very dry! I also missed the normally added silver tweepers and thin strips of speck in the sauce. I will definitely visit this year again, but may not take this dish anymore. the servant offered me to add more sauce than I complained, but it was too little, too late.

Eigentlich wollten wir weiter fahren. Da die Zeit wegen Verkehrsüberlastung davonlief beschlossen wir, einfach beim nächsten Gasthof zu halten und zu essen. Der Halt war sehr erfreulich.Freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Schöne Sitzplätze mit Aussicht auf den See. Das Essen, eines der Standard-Mittagsmenu war ein Pouletmenu mit Trockenbreis und Broccoligemüse mit Mandelsplittern. Davor eine leichte Bouillon. Ein Halt um zu Essen ist zu empfehlen!

Fantastic place! We went there, because all the hotels in Rapperswil were occupied. The rooms were small but nice, and no noise between the lively road and the railway. And what a restaurant: full of people and excellent food. 12 points goes to an English waitress even if she doesn´t paint the town red as often as she used to.

Seit ich klein bin gehe ich mit meiner Familie regelmässig ins Seefeld. Das Essen ist wirklich gut. Vorallem Cordonbleu und Zürigschnätzlets mit Röschti. An einem Sonntag Mittag jedoch ziemlich hektisch. Das Seefeld lohnt sich auch für ein feines Glace.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit super Essen! Ebenfalls sehr nettes und geduldiges Personal. Jedoch solle man Reservieren und darauf bestehen, dass man in den Wintergarten kann. Ansonsten ist es tendenziell sehr laut.
