We were there on an absolutely beautiful day! We stopped on our way back home from Munich. The prices of the food were a bit steep... We paid euro for my lunch which was a special of the day, Veal with Mushrooms over Arugula...with a Pepper Pesto. It was very, very delicious!!!! Everyone else enjoyed their food also. The Wiener Schnitzel was very light and tasty too. The Lake is pretty and it was very quiet even though the weather was gorgeous. Worth a trip!

Nothing to complain about position, food itself and ambient. The restaurant is along the lake and the inside is made of wood in a typical Bavarian style. Somehow the impression is that it wants to appear chic. Food is not bad even if expensive. Choices...are limited. The very bad note goes to the service: far away the worst I ever experienced. It doesn't let you feel welcome at all.

we had a very pleasant dinner in this beautiful restaurant and would definitely go back. the food was good (we all tried something else, from suppe and salat to steak and fish,) and we were all satisfied with our meals. our waiter was friendly and attentive, spoke excellent English and had a good sense of humor. the arched egg ceiling gives the place a warm, comfortable feeling.

on the way to Munich we came to a lunch break with a large group and bus tour. all service personnel was very friendly and helpful. the food came fast and tasted super. were large, no: very large, so I could hardly eat. it was all. is this a helpful review? then please give me a thumbs up thank you frankgeisler by clicking on the button below.

There is a nice looking inside restaurant and a biergarten with food outside on the lake. I had casual meal/drinks outside. It was a lovely, sunny day and lake view was great. Beer, coffee, typical German lunch was just fine. They also serve have spare...ribs. formal dining in restaurant.

Amazing spot just on the lake ! My husband and I visited last month while on a road trip. We were passing by and decided to stop to see the lake , found this absolute gem! Food was very tasty , service exceptional and the...view stunning! Strongly recommended!

We sometimes take business partner there. But not because of its food. The location with its great views at the Ammer is impressive for everybody who has not been there before. Food is also good, but most of the dishes (especially starters) are overpriced.

the best of the Amersee beer gardens. good selection of food and hacker pshorr. good shadow and close to the ferry.
