The food preparation and the presentation are excellent. BUT, that is where the customer service stops. The room prices with inclusive breakfast and dinner are very confusing and not very transparent. The wine is served without proper announcement of the prices. 354 CHF for two bottles of wine (Seehof merlot label for one). When wine was ordered we asked for a bottle of red and one glass of white wine. We received the house merlot and a glass of white wine. The wine price was not disclosed until checkout. Surprise. The manager was not very accommodating and was argumentative at checkout when trying to resolve the very over-priced dinner and sticker shock by a unhappy guest. By the way, watch...

TAKE AWAY TOP! Schon viele Jahre kennen wir das Hotel Seehof Valbella. Mit einer Thermoskanne Tee ausgestattet waren wir zur Feier meines 50. Geburtstags am Spazieren am Heidsee und haben voller Freude entdeckt, dass das Hotel Seehof Take away anbietet. Sie haben 5 Personen total glücklich gemacht mit feinem Kaffee, herrlichster Gerstensuppe, selbstgemachten Pommes ... und weil es für Nicht-Hotelgäste aufgrund der Auflagen keine Möglichkeit gab, auf dem Areal des Hotels zu essen, hatten wir wohl den allerschönsten Platz zum Mittag auf einer freien Bank am See. Es war sehr speziell, super fein und wir wurden durch ein motiviertes Team bedient. Vielen herzlichen Dank!
with this beautiful weather we enjoyed the terrace of the hotel seehof very much. not even a simple coupe denmark was on it. also otherwise the selection was very small.The service staff was friendly but unorganized. new gaunts came but the tables were not cleared. aimlessly back and forth and no support from the dame at the reception that would have had time.

very nice and competent service, generous seating of the dining room and if you reserve early tables with beautiful view of the Heidsee.From us especially recommend: calamaretti an tagliolini, 3 scampi (südafrika) always different, Wienerschva.
Unfortunately, the seayard is no longer what he was.The service is unorganized and inexperienced. but this is not enough for this price level. While eating was good at qualitatiw - the offer was modest.The ambience is dusty. Pity.
Absolutely amazing, decadent meals, incredibly memorable. We had to come back to this restaurant after our first experience because it was just so good (all the way from Australia)
