Two times within a week! Both times were pickup because it was late and I thought... what should I have? One time I ordered while in there and the order was VERY fast! The other I ordered before I left on my 3 min bike ride and it was ready when I got there. The first time I went for the Vermicelli bowl but had the Curry Ramen dish when I saw it on the board and thought... I could've went to any other Japanese place closer to where I'm staying, but this place had great reviews so I drove down to Lakeshore to check it out. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier, or they were short-staffed for a Sunday, but I told the staffer at the cash that I wanted to sit out front on the patio, since there was one table with shade, and I got an "Ok", but then no server came out. Luckily I took a menu with me and then I went inside to order. Staff mistook me for wanting take out, without clearly asking my intention, so they ended up bringing out my order in a styrofoam container as I sat outside. We tried O-Zeki Noodle House right after they first opened and weren't too impressed. With a recent change in ownership (and new name, they dropped the "O" and turned the "Z" around to make an "S") we thought we would try it again.First of all. This is not a noodle house. This is primarily a sushi restaurant. There's a small portion of their menu that has three different types of ramen and a few other noodle dishes. But the main focus is sushi. Second, for a place calling itself a noodle house, I would expect amazing noodles. The ramen here is really just mediocre. It didn't have much flavour. This place is not that well-known by many people but it is really, really good. The rolls were well made, with the right texture, the right amount of rice-meat/fish and the tempura etc are all really good.The restaurant interior is clean, pleasant and fresh. Large windows provide a good view. Service is very efficient, polite and friendly. Everyone I invited today really liked the food and was equally surprised how good it was.The only thing was that I thought the prices could be a bit lower. In Kelowna for a day surgery & had to go to the closest sushi place from my hotel. I have been to other places in Kelowna & this one was just fine. I think it is related to the O- Seki on Enterprise & it's smaller but very nice. The service was great & the assorted sashimi was nice; so nice that I had to have some extra salmon as dessert. My friend had the Tad Pan & he said it was very good.When I can have sashimi only a block or so from my hotel I'm a "happy camper". Definitely I'll go back again.

As vegetarians we made our second trip here. The yam rolls were a great starter and we both had the vegetarian bento box. A good selection of tempura vegetables, edamame, a large piece of fried tofu, more vegetable rolls and the basic salad were enjoyed.Good quality and fresh.Only thing missing was the server finally bringing our tea as we finished our meals, which we politely refused (and weren't charged).Will stay on our top ten list as it's only a ten minute walk from our home.

The staff is very warm and friendly. They were also quite accommodating of my dietary needs. The waitress wasn't hesitant to go back and ask the cooks if the item I was looking at would be safe to eat. She was very helpful showing me what I would be able to eat.

Great food & service. The chef made a special sushi plate for me cause I told him that I'd love to have avocado in the sushi. Udon is very good same as I could find in LA, price is reasonable for a small town, worth every penny. Monica from Los Angeles, US. Reserva una mesa ahora

Coming from Alberta, I was really hoping for a higher bar of sushi in BC. But this was pretty average and much better can be had even in Alberta. Had the Chirashi, and it didn't have much to justify the cost. Very very basic selection.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We arrive close to closing and they made every effort to get our takeout prepared. Quite tasty.
