El restaurante está un poco fuera de lo común, pero vale la pena el esfuerzo. Muy cerca de la principal zona comercial de Ehrenfeld y hay un aparcamiento público justo al lado del restaurante. Comí allí en Selam con ... un grupo de cuatro personas y compartimos un plato mixto vegetariano. Había una gran variedad de gustos y texturas. Las raciones eran más que generosas a un precio muy razonable. La camarera que también era la dueña nos dijo que era su madre la que cocinaba. We wished to make some culinary experience and to avoid any German standard like schnitzel...Based on all tips we found on trip advisor we decided to try this surprising Ethiopian restaurant. To be sure to have a global overview, we decided to take the samplings as starters and main courses. Everything was very tasty, prices maybe a little expensive for Germany, drinks like wine very classical (South African merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) and affordable. Very friendly service and explanations but unfortunately, there s only one waitress for the whole restaurant which can cause some additional waiting times in the rush hour.

Super friendly staff, helpful. The food was amazing and quick even though it's ethiopian Food which usually takes longer. The owner herself served us! The atmosphere was really cozy and comfortable. I felt at home It was clean!

Uno de los mejores restaurantes aquí en Colonia, si está buscando un tipo de cocina más atípico, definitivamente debe visitar Selam, ¡el personal es excepcional, al igual que la comida! Como dije uno de mis favoritos por ahora

Friendly waitress who speaks English and kindly recommended a chicken dish with bread and egg. Flavourful.
