I recently had the pleasure of dining at Selda, a fantastic Turkish restaurant that truly impressed me. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like honored guests. The standout feature of our experience was the exceptionally friendly staff, especially our waiter, Volkan. His genuine warmth and attentive service made our evening truly special. I mean I don’t know where to begin. I have been living in Dallas for 8 years and have yet to find a restaurant where everything from the drinks, to the food, to the service is a 10/10. Dallas is becoming the land of the trendy atmosphere but low quality food, so Selda was a beautiful reprieve from that. I ordered the lamb shank and it was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and the food is true Mediterranean. Servers were nice, but not super pushy like most restaurants. And the bartender made our cocktails to perfection.

The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. The metal cup they brought was rusty inside and when I asked to change it they didn’t even apologize. The waiter just frowned and brought another cup. Furthermore, I had to ask for everything twice. It didn’t matter if I asked for bread, water, or napkins. I had to ask twice. Even though it wasn’t crowded, I waited way too long for things I shouldn’t have had to wait for. I’ve been going to Selda for a while and this is the first time I’ve had an experience this terrible.

If you are not from Turkiye, the food may seem delicious compared to the food in America, but it is not even as delicious as a standart restaurant in Turkiye. They even charge money for the tea they bring cold and not brewed properly. Only 2 people can sit at the 4-person table, the space is very small and narrow. Their patios are beautiful but they don't spend any money to more beautify them. Where there is no alternative as a Turkish restaurant, they act relax and rudely to the customer Reserva una mesa ahora

A friend invited me to meet her at Selda to try out their Turkish food. We ate a couple of different kind of kabobs. Chicken Adana, and Urfa Kabob. The chicken and the beef both were delicious. The service was fantastic throughout our visit. The Kunefe(dessert) was served on a hot metal plate, topped with ice cream. I absolutely delicious food with great service.

We have a Turkish friend who we were hosting so we came to Selda to have a quick bite. The food is indeed flavorful, fresh, and exciting! You won't regret coming here as they have something for everyone : We ordered lahmacuns, vegetarian and feta pide, as well as the chocolate cake. Staff was fast and professional, the food came out quick as well. Give it a try!

The food is absolutely delicious!! This is a usual spot for me and my family now. We always get the Urfa kabob, feta and olives, arugula salad, and the meat pie. Everything is cooked to perfection and the flavors are amazing. The service is great! Servers are really sweet and welcoming. Always attentive to your needs. Would highly recommend this place

My first experience was horrible, the waiter was very rude when he didn’t get the tip he wanted. My second time around everything was pleasing. The food, service and the ambience met my expectations. It’s a win-win when you give second chances. Reserva una mesa ahora

Awesome food, hands down best Turkish food comes to flavors, taste, food portions, presentations. I will definitely be back. Fish was amazing fresh and tasteful. Service was great, Ozcan was great explained foods well. recommended!

Delicious food. But you need to make a reservation here..Which sucks especially when they clearly have empty tables and still want you to wait an hour to eat.
