Upon entering this gem in Astoria, you immediately feel the old world charm at home. Selo is my favorite Restaurant that I always visit whenever I’m in Astoria! The owners greet you are Extremely genuine. I’ve had many of their dishes from the Sarma to the Cevapi tonight finally the Bronzino!! Everything is always Absolutely delicious, especially the wine!! Highly recommended for those who enjoy food from the balkans for those who have not, def check it out for an authentic warm experience!!! You Definitely won’t be disappointed! Selo also hosts a amazing party on Saturday nights

This is one of the best finds of the year for me. We did the 2 person sampler so we got to try a lot. The homemade fuzi pasta was so delicate and the veal was a perfect compliment. One of the lightest pasta dishes I could imagine. The stuffed peppers are awesome, and the cevapi are exactly as they should be and that schnitzel was something i wish i was eating right now. This was one great meal. I cannot wait to return and try more. 10/10 would recommend.

Great food, fantastic service, very clean establishment. Bread is to die for and cevapi and veal soup the best in town. Music is also perfect too n background, specially for 80’s “golden age” nostalgia

Not every Eastern European restaurant has stuffed peppers, this one does and they do it right. The staff are extremely polite and professional, the food is just amazing. Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was great, had the Istrian Gnocchi and Karadordjeva. Both were great, really loved the gnocchi as it was very fluffy. Service was a little slow, but not bad

The service was excellent! The waitress did everything from making our drinks to getting our foods. She promptly attended to all of our needs. Thank you again.
