Selo - Reservar una mesa

I just came back from eating at Selo with my mother, and the food was amazing right along with the service. We've never had Balkan cuisine, so we were recommended the Sampler for Two People and everything tasted wonderful. The portions were very manageable, not too much and definitely not too little, and everything was cooked and seasoned excellent. I chose to eat here because of many top reviews, and Selo certainly did not disappoint.

We were met with exceptional service and cuisine throughout the entirety of the visit. My mom is Croatian and my sister I wanted to take her here for a special treat since she's visiting from out of town. Everything from the personalized greeting from Elvis, the owner; to the generous portions of amazing authentic food; to the live music made for an incredible experience and I will be returning again soon, bringing more family members!

A lovely Croatian restaurant!The Istrian gnocchi was incredibly indulgent. Soft and chewy gnocchi bathed in luxurious cheese.The burek was so light and crispy, baked to a perfect golden brown with creamy cheese filling.The cevapi was meaty and flavorful. I couldn't get enough of them!The Zito cake was surprisingly good. Not overly sweet, nutty, and creamy. Really enjoyed its sticky, soft, and silky mouthfeel!

On holiday in New York my Croatian wife wanted to try her dishes in America too.Family atmosphere with courteous and friendly staff made us feel at home.We were surprised by the excellent quality of the food. Tasty meat and fresh fish dishes accompanied by good wine.To finish we tried the desserts which I must say were delicious. A pleasant surprise. Well done.
