Seneca - Reserva de mesa

A friend surprised us with dinner reservations to Seneca. Our first time here and it did not disappoint. It was an earlier reservation and being off-season of the track, the restaurant was about half full upon arrival. The atmosphere is quiet, casual and relaxed. We were greeted immediately and sat promptly at our table. Waiter appeared quickly for a drink order and to bring their very delicious warm rolls. We tried a variety of dishes but the shrimp and grits was by far the best. Very happy with my selection. We did not feel rushed to leave and were there for quite a while just relaxing after dinner. We dined here recently and had a lovely experience. We chose to sit outside in the alley, which was beautifully decorated with festive lighting. The food was outstanding; the Parker House rolls with honey butter were incredible, and the deviled egg appetizer was delightful. I ordered the wagyu burger, which was cooked perfectly, although I was disappointed that they didn't allow me to add an egg to it. My husband enjoyed a rich and complex pasta dish. I had a lemon drop martini, but it was served in a rather small glass that wasn't a traditional martini glass. Although the service was friendly, it was unfortunately a bit slow. Reserved a table for 8:45 and called that i was going to be 5 or 10 minutes late as a huge thunderstorm had just hit. I was told by the person answering the phone that the kitchen was closing and there was nothing she could do. I asked "why take a reservation for 8:45 when you close at 9...She really didnt care and was left with no where to go.

For what it is, overpriced. We made reservations and we were there as soon as they open. I asked for a private corner which I was denied due to their strategy. As I left with a generous 20% tip. Table I asked to sit in was empty the entire time. Our drinks were finished and they never asked to refill them. All in all it's just a bar. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was very good! We started with the perogies and they were good. My hanger steak was tender and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his veal chop. We had the brownie for dessert and it was yummy. Service was great. The only drawback was that it’s a loud restaurant.

The food was delicious, though I found the portions a bit small for the price. The staff was attentive and friendly, and we were served quickly. They were also well-versed in the entire menu. As for parking, the nearby garage is convenient and hassle-free.

Fantastic anniversary dinner on the porch. Our food was scrumptious, the service great. The Shrimp and Grits, wow. Strip steak tender.
