Senoji Japanese Restaurant

First up, the staff were very welcoming and polite upon arrival and continued to do their best throughout the night. The ambience is pretty ordinary but on most occasions you can forgive or overlook this if the food is worthwhile (Buen 151 on Chapman Road Bentley is a case in point). I think the front of house staff are on a hiding to nothing' given the poor management of orders shown by the kitchen staff. We were a party of seven dinning on a Friday night. I have lived a past in the victoria park and last night was my first time in the restaurant. impression: lack of Japanese restaurant standard. bad menu presentation: small font and not images for reference. small part: the portions are small, so they do not expect to feel satisfied after a meal. tasteless or salty: there is no fresh food, but the salt exaggerates the entire meal. confusing ambiance: why an old Japanese restaurant English jazz music plays the background. only strange. bad food presentation: sushi cut is just unprofessional. I can do this better! Conclusion: will not go back for about 40 per person.

interesting to read the mixed reviews here. I was here 4 times, and had every time an amazing experience, barring once, where the sushi I had ordered seemed to have been opened instead of making fresh. therefore my rating is 4 stars. the menu "Sake/drinks" is extensive, (try the plum wine there are many unique elements on the menu, and the service is super attentive. I close a collage of what we had. These include wagyu tataki, kimchee tofu, karage huhn, a cooking range of sashimi, and scallops meerte in butter. the kimchee tofu was the stand-out. I've never been to senoji in the victoria park. my friends always tell me how great it was, so we went and try it out, I was disappointed by what they have in the offer half specials on the board were sold to start on Saturday night at 18:30. we have 7 people eating in senoji, we just ordered the escape. there was nothing to hurt that I don't think I would return to this restaurant. eating was either to mix or to salty. we ordered the Sashimi court, the fish was actually frozen and thawed. we were not impressed at all.

eating is very authentic and very fresh. that's when you get it! has been here many times, but that's waiting for more than 30 45 minutes. this includes taking away the order! it is also quite expensive for what they get. it is a scandal how eating great, service is simply very slow!
