I ordered the pampero sandwich and was disappointed with the ratio of bread to meat/veggies - there was not enough filling for the size of the sandwich. It seemed like there was supposed to be sauce, but mine was dry. I couldn't go back for more sauce since it was a to-go order. The cashier recommended the sandwich, but it was just chicken, lettuce, and cheese on a sub with not enough chicken. I probably should have known better than to order a sandwich from a taco spot. The flavor was okay, but it was dry without the sauce. I regret ordering the sandwich and will update my review after trying the tacos. On a positive note, I gave the Mexican corn five stars - it was super yummy.
I found this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from a local shop owner on South King Street, and it definitely lived up to the expectations. The street-style tacos, priced at about $4 each, were amazing, particularly when paired with their house-made salsas. The atmosphere was enhanced by indie rock music reminiscent of the Black Keys. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves authentic tacos or is searching for unique specialty options.
Very very yuppie surburban Americanized. Mostly not Mexican at all, though apparently Anglos in Virginia are easily fooled. Garlic bread tortas? Disgusting. Hot sauces that are milder than the mildest store bought salsa. The people seem nice enough, fast service, clean. At least they don 't pour sour cream over everything. I suppose that the clients seem over 95% whites should be a tip off. Wish them well catering to them.
Tried the Loco taco and Minmu Nachos for the first time, and both were outstanding. The Loco taco had the perfect balance of heat, flavor, and tender meat, with a great cheese blend to top it off. The Al pastor and Barbacoa tacos were also very tasty. The tacos were generously sized, and two each left us completely satisfied. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean! We’ll definitely be returning for more.

The manager and owner of this restaurant are taking the tips from the workers when customers tip with a credit card. Despite the good food and friendly, efficient staff, it's disappointing that the tips are not going to those who deserve them like the cooks or register workers. I've been tipping in cash to ensure the staff are properly compensated. It's unfortunate behavior from the management.

Al pastor and Barbacoa tacos were also delicious. Nice sizedtacos and we were full after two each. Friendly staff and clean place! We will definitely come back for more.

This place rocks. The staff is great, the atmosphere is great, the drinks and food are GREAT we are consistently pleased with Señor Ramon Taqueria. Featured in my pics are the Super Ramon and Roasted Mexican Corn menu items which I highly recommend.
