Seoul Korean & Japanese Cuisine

Let me begin by saying that we had not had sushi for almost two years and I was really looking forward to my meal. We live about 25 minute drive from the Seoul restaurant but my husband was in Wetaskiwin so I phoned in an order for pick up. Food was ready when he arrived so he paid the $89.00 dollar bill and left a $5.00 tip. He hurried back with the food and laid it out on the table. We had ordered a 6 piece sashimi, spicy tuna roll, dynamite roll, rainbow roll and a dragon roll. Sushi itself looked great! Only problem there was no wasabi, ginger, or chopsticks. This is a restaurant in Wetaskiwin. Things like decor and service and atmosphere are going to be as expected in such a place. They need to turn a profit to stay afloat and renovating does not result in direct profits to the bottom line. I had the bee bim bap (I have seen this word spelled many different ways). I remember the old management at Bulgogi House in Edmonton and I think theirs was better than this, but that was a long time ago. The bee bim bap at this restaurant was much tastier than when I had some in Korea. Had lunch at Seoul this week. The sashimi was fresh and delicious and were much larger portions than I am used to at other restaurants. The rolls were delicious and the rice perfect. We got a special treat with fried skin and shrimp. The batter was light tasty and crisp and the protein was delicious and not at all over cooked. If you love Asian food, do your self a favour and head to Seoul in Wetaskiwin!

An unexpected find in Wetaskiwin. Seoul has an extensive menu from sushi and sashimi to bulgogi beef and jap chea. The food was good and prices were decent. Service could be friendlier and more attentive though.

Great Korean food and it was fantastic the food was amazing and it was Delicious too I would highly recommend it
