Serafini - Reserva de mesa

As is my tradition, I ordered the lasagna, which serves as a good benchmark for any restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine. The lasagna was creamy with a nice sweetness from the ricotta, but I found the sauce to be somewhat sweet as well, and the cheese was under-melted. I believe the dish would have benefited from a bit more garlic, a touch of more acidic tomato, and a stronger infusion of oregano to balance the sweetness of the ricotta. Other members of my party ordered beef dishes, which were cooked slightly over but otherwise offered very satisfying flavors and sauces. Very good, chef inspired food. Surroundings are very nice, staff is great. Probably my girlfriends favorite place to eat, we go on special occasions. Not cheap, you will pay a lot more than going to some chain place like Appleby's, but then again you get a WHOLE heck of a lot more, plus you won't find food like it anywhere else around the Frankfort area. I highly recommend it.

Great food, wonderful server. He was very attentive and recommended things all night. My husband and I enjoyed almost everything. It was a little awkward how close to the front door and to the table to the right of us was. The couple at the table beside us seemed to know everyone so it was pretty loud most of the time. But besides that we enjoyed all the food and service.

I've eaten several times here, but I guess I'm 39 weeks pregnant, it tastes better than ever! (what I didn't think was possible) we had dinner here last night and it was just fantastic. everything we had was perfect. the bruschetta appetizer was honestly the best I ever had. absolutely delicious in every sight. new desire, unlocked. First time at Serafinis and will definitely return next time I'm in Frankfort. Had the hot brown and loved the addition of prosciutto place of country ham. Everyone's food in our group was great. Charming location in the heart of town.

The current menu is very contemporary. I love the Bison Meatloaf and the variety of salads cannon be found on any other menu. The bartender is always up to date on the latest drink trends.
