If you want a culinary experience with a wonderful atmosphere, fantastic cocktails and delicious food try Restaurant Serenade in Chatam, NJ. This lovely French restaurant makes you feel right at home its four dining rooms. Each with it's own unique charm. We had the room with fireplace, which made it extremely cozy on this chilly winter night. We had cocktails in the bar which also had a fireplace. Saturday night had the prefix menu which cost $83. Fancy dining spot... Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Though they don't say there is a dress code I wouldn't recommend going in jeans or a Tshirt. The place is nice and it's high priced. Had the caviar tasting and lamb rack. Both were exceptional. I found this place because it was ranked 2-3 for the best restaurant in NJ and I think it holds up. If you have the budget then this place a an amazing option.

We had our wedding of 25 people here in 2019 because I fell in love with the food the first time we ate here. We had scoped out a few places but the atmosphere/decor here was more our style. We also wanted a relaxing reception full of delicious food and wine and that’s exactly what we got! I highly suggest this for small receptions. People to this day talk about how amazing the food was.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The prefix menu was superb and had enough options to satisfy most palettes. Also, the wine menu was extensive and paired extremely well with the menu. Depending on the occasion, their wine menu has you covered. Excellent food, wonderful service and a beautiful dining room. Everything we ordered was delicious Tuna Tartare and Octopus appetizers followed by Sole and Pork Chop entrees and capped with the Apple Cobbler and Key Lime Tart. The Tuna and the Pork Chop we're the best we have ever had. Restaurant Serenade is a special place.

We recently hosted a baptism luncheon at Restaurant Serenade and have nothing but good things to say! From the planning to the day of staff they were wonderful! Our guests also raved about the food. Top notch food, service, and atmosphere! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for regular dining or any event.

The restaurant was a little hard to find but once we got inside it was nothing but excellent. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The only thing that wasn't excellent was me dripping chocolate sauce on my shirt.
