I sincerely hope we just had bad luck when we visited yesterday. Alas, the whole experience was either under average (poor) or simply plain bad. I have so many unfortunate things to say that I don't know where to start...and trust me, my reviews are almost always positive, not this time.First of all, after about an hour seating and already witnessing many issues, I observed to our party that , even though this is an 'asian' restaurant and not only chinese, that there was an obvious lack and sign of bad omen for an asian restaurant, there was no fish tank or live aquarium in the place. Since that is a sign of good luck for the asian (maybe just chinese), I thought it could explain a lot, and...
I am a regular of Sesame. The ambiance is great, but the food is divine. You will find regular Chinese dishes but also more daring dishes like poutine Tao, a fusion between poutine and General Tao chicken, The drinks are original and very tasty. The service is excellent and the price is according to the quality of food. You won't be disappointed.
We had a good experience here. There are some really original Asian "inspired" items on the menu. "Inspired" being the keyword. As other reviews mentioned, they do not pretend to be an Asian restaurant but are inspired by Asian cuisine. The food was very good at a decent price. Our waiter was very attentive.
We ate there with a group of five. Four of the guests were very happy with their meals. One guest order a chicken saute and complained that there was not enough chicken. The other guests were very satisfied and were saying that they liked it very much.

I ordered the vegan bol with tofu, it was tasty, the only thing I didn't like is that there was a lot of rice in the bol and less of the other ingredients. should be more balanced in portions.
Nice atmosphere, ambiance could use improving thoughwaitress was nice enough, but an undertone of impatience due to us being English speaking only.
Lunch with Coleagues. The food was just awsome. I had the fried rice & vegetables. We all tried different plates & they were all good.
Nice quick restaurant with a simple Asiatic menu. Prices reasonable. Ample sized servings. Great coffee.
