the dumplings we had for a starter were excellent, we had the black and kimchi, fried, and the little chicken bug dumplings, also fried. they were delicious. the sauce that came with the chickens was like an asian bbq. we also ordered a spicy **** Mary type drink and a mojito both very tasty. there the meal no longer remained so delicious. my man has the Thai coco (similar tom kha) suppe. that was overwhelming. it has 2 paprika, specify the spiciness in the menu, but it was definitiw not sharp. the cherry tomatoes and celery in the suppe were confusing and did not fit with the taste profile. the huge leaves of cilantro really needed to be cut a little bit smaller. it also needed more cocose...

Simply Ok.It’s fine, good ambiance, fun drinks, but honestly just average.The quality of drinks was mediocre. Not impressed, but also have had worse. They sounded better than they tasted.TLDR: The only thing worth your money are the edamame in bean sauce.As for entrees, the peanut butter dumplings were a hit! The sauce was great! The mini poke bowl is a bang for your buck, and a really cute size! Lots of rice though.Wonton soup was actually delicious. Basically entrees were the best food we had.As for mains, the general tao bowl was fresh but really average. we were not impressed. I ordered the tofu poke bowl because I am vegetarian. my wife had the pad thai. we also ordered a starter of veggie knödeln. the waiter said that he would bring out the appetizers immediately. within 5 minutes of order brought another server out our escape! that made us wonder if that was someone else's order, especially because my tofu was clear. I called back the server and he said there were also tofu in there; I told him that the menu didn't say anything about garneling, and I ordered the tofu because I'm a vegetarian. he said he would correct it. he came back 2 minutes later; it was obvious that he had scratched the garnels from the top and instead shot some cold...

We enjoy asian food as Australia has many choices and on our trip around the USA and Canada, we felt like a change from burgers, nice as they are.On our way past Sesame, in Montreal, we noticed the tasteful decor and decided to give this asian restaurant a try.The food was well worth the try as it was freshly prepared and tasty.The beer was good and the service was also very good.Overall, i'd recommend this thai restaurant as a good choice away from the usual array of burger and tourist restaurants not far from here in old Montreal.Give it a try if you enjoy thai food.Finally, not to be forgotten, a decent tea menu for those who enjoy completing their meal with a beverage of this nature. I have the wrong sauce for my dish (or her erdnusssauce is really sweet and does not taste like erdnuss at all), but we waited for more than 30 minutes for our food, so we were somehow in a hurry and I did not study further. concerning the rice, he was sticky rice mixed with tiny pieces of carrots. I had expected a fluffy rice full of taste, but I guess that's on me. the service was very attentive. they need to book a table in advance for lunchtime, or they could wait long.

The food was amazing and I highly recommend their general tao. My only complaint was their waiting room is probably the most unpleasant experience I've ever had waiting for a table. They just have a chair in a narrow hallway next to the washroom. So you need to wait listening to people go to the bathroom while other people crawl over you to get to the washroom.Basically if you don't have to wait, excellent place to go, but if you need to wait, go somewhere else.

I was on Sunday night. there was no space inside, so we sat on the terrace. our waitress was good. eating was good, but no big part at all and expensive. I took the burger who was good, but the chicken roast rice was decent. for the desert I had the cheesecake, but it was too small and for the drink I had the Chinese medicine and it was ok. we also waited very long for our order and there was mixing in our order.

If you are looking for a change from the everyday, Sesame may be your place to try.It seems to be a fushion of Asian, American, and Quebec cuisines. One that catches the eye is the General Tao Poutine.Actually pretty tasty, but definitely different from the everyday. A visit is what I would recommend.

criticizing the restaurant of the same banner, but the one on Ste-Catherine Street: we were a group of 8, the wait was very (too) long; management of major groups must be improved. meals arrived one after another, mistake in meals, in additions. short. a lot to do. Too bad for them!

We are in the middle of a tour of Quebec, Montreal and Toronto and have enjoyed some excellent French cuisine. A fellow we met recommended Sesame and we tried it. Everything about it was excellent, the food, the service the ambiance. A nice change of pace.
