I made a reservation for 6 people on Tuesday night. We were in Pasadena for the film festival and were looking for a place to eat and drink before heading to the theatre. Unexpectedly, about 15 of our friends showed up (because they know LA) and we ended up taking up a large part of the nearly empty restaurant. Instead of the host, other waiters and the manager made an effort to help us find more seating and add more tables. However, we were left to fend for ourselves in terms of taking care of everyone (finding more seating, etc.). It was super disappointing, especially since the food wasn't great to begin with.
We came to Settebello because this place was recommended by a friend who is actually Italian. That's saying a lot! We loved the natural ingredients, the brick oven and the exceptional service that we received (there weren't many customers during lunch on a Friday when we went, so lucky us). One of our employees stated that the pizza dough is just like naan, which is so true in the best way fluffy and light, yet perfect for holding up the ingredients on the pizza. The cocktails were great too, and there's nothing bad that I can say about our visit!
I took my friends there for the first time and they loved it as much as I have. The service was perfect and the food outstanding. The gluten free crust is the best I've seen yet. It looks and tastes like the real thing.
The pizza was good and the large Insalata was excellent. I recommend serving lemon peel with the espresso. The lemon torta dessert was delicious and I also enjoyed the cafe americano.

Outstanding, as always. Love this place ... authentic Neapolitan wood fired pizza, not an easy thing to find in L.A. And a small, but great selection of rotating beers on tap.
The gluten free pizza crust was very good...puffy..not at all flat and chewy. We even bought a bag of their GF flour which they do sell to try it out!
The pizza and antipasti are delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks are good, and it's a great spot for a meal before or after a show.
Very good pizza and tiramisu'! Prices are a little higher than average but food is very good.

Very nice dinner with friends. Our waiter, Brandon, was awesome! We will definitely be back.
