This place servers up traditional Italian dishes. We had a starter special of oysters and the scallops. Now, I am a natural oyster fan. These are served with the smallest dash of balsamic glaze,olive oil, salt and pepper and topped with some fresh lemon juice. This combination works brilliantly and enhances the natural flavours of the generous sized delicious oysters. I found this restaurant disappointing. for such high prices I expected highest quality, but eating was quite average. the pasta was dry and which soda was missing taste. the biggest disappointment was however that the menu nz whitebait, but what was delivered. on the table was definitiw nz whitebait but something quite different. When I asked the waitress about it, she insisted that it was actually nz whitebait and was fully ready to defend her stallion quite aggressive. I decided it wasn't contesting, but it was interesting that a diner leaned on a nearby table over and commented that he could also see that it wasn't nz whitebait. I couldn't eat the court, but no solution was offered.
two of us visited again a favorite restaurant, near the train station beecroft. a very friendly greeting by the owner, and he recommended specificities and described meal options. we enjoyed a common antipasto board, kalbshaupt for me and spatcock for my man, both...beautiful! a very nice pinot gris, a great atmosphere and helpful staff will be happy to come back.
Too pricy!!! Paid $24 for a pizza, not large size, not even medium just at the size of a small plate!!! Also, paid $16 for four thin slices of tomato and some cheese which they used to call it salad!! (Tomato buffalo mozzarella w basil)BTW, prices in the restaurant menu is much higher than online menu!!!!!Please don’t waste your money here.

This restaurant is nothing short of enjoyable,I came in early this morning and was greeted by Tony, he is the sweetest soul you will ever meet.The rest of the staff are absolutely amazing, I was served so carefully and amazingly, I highly recommend this restaurant.They have a wide range of foods to choose from that are all delicious !
my wife and I have just been here recently. it is an intimate little restaurant. the service has a very familial feeling that added to our experience. eating is plentiful and tasty. we really enjoyed it.
had a fab dinner here and eating was excellent. great atmosphere to chat and eat. delicious cocktails too. child-friendly: large menu for children
Very underwhelming for the price. The pizza was dripping wet and the dough was undercooked. Definitely won't be going back.
