Seven Quarts Tavern

My wife and i went to Seven Quarts Tavern last night (Friday night) and to describe the atmosphere in the bar area as lively would be an understatement. This was our 2nd time here in the last week and we have now had 8 items on their tapas menu (working our way through everything this place has to offer) and everything we 've tried has exceeded our expectations. If i had to describe the food at Seven Quartz in one word it would be FLAVORFUL . What i enjoyed most about the food experience here is the chef and staff have taken very popular items and scaled them up with added ingredients, flavors and textures. The staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was creative, with layered flavors, textures and colors. All in all, it was a memorable meal, from start to finish. The only thing missing was a Birthday candle, or a celebratory dessert decoration, as I did indicate that we were celebrating our Birthdays. But, no big deal! Our desserts were divine, anyway! If we didn 't have the time constraints of theater tickets, we surely would have lingered over our desserts, and enjoyed an after dinner coffee or libation. Interesting menu, nice decor in a converted home. Service was friendly, but none of the dishes we ordered were made with any love or attention to detail. Our hummus and veggies consisted of dried our carrot sticks and soggy broccoli floweretts. Broccoli is not a good medium for dipping. No peppers, no cucumbers, celery or anything capable of dipping was available. Our hot sandwich was served on untoasted, day old bread and was disappointing. On the positive side, the house made potato chips were nice as was the wine selections. Took our son here for food and fun. He just got back from his freshman year at college... we were greeted happily and seated. Our server was very upbeat and attentive. The owner even made drinks special for us because we ordered something not on drink menu. The Mac and cheese was served super hot and was DELISH! Steak tidbits were perfect and for desert we ordered the brownie skillet which was SO AWESOME! Went recently for a date night and had fantastic food and service. Of all the things we ordered, I must mention the mac and cheese appetizer just WOW, we were fighting over the last spoonful. She ordered the Manhattan burger and loved it. I ordered Korean BBQ wings and they were some of the best I've had anywhere, if not the best. I also had fries with beer cheese as a side, which of course was addictingly good. I have to also mention their great on tap beer selection and service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check this place out!

New owner ship, great feel of the place foods great, service is amazinv, oddly normally I would say they need to get it hammered out, but I did not feel that way tonight Beer selection is great just the right mixture Wine nice big rack looked good, and they did new wine night and odd wines and that pretty my type stuff Liquors are off the charts!! So many to choose from a little deep like when you pull out heymans old time gin you are doing a lot right Great time great place

We hadn't been here since pre covid. Our previous experiences where great but yesterday's was not. Our server was wonderful but the food was not. Even simple French fries were so over salted that they were inedible. The mussels were bad. The burger ordered medium was a hockey puck and the Mac and cheese ordered for our niece was a disgrace. How do you screw up Mac and cheese? They managed to do it. We won't go back. Two stars because of great service, otherwise one star.

I had seen mixed reviews online and was slightly worried that we would have a similar experience. We went to get basic bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc. A meal that should have taken a maximum of 30 minutes to cook ended a 2 hours dining room experience, mostly coming to the food. Amazing Happy hour!!!! Nothing that douggy fresh can't help with. The food options are great. I would recommend the garlic parmesan fries, brussel sprouts and kale salad that are all gluten free. Great job!

Amazing brunch menu. I also really love that they start their brunch at 10am. The food is so delicious. I had the 8 hr short rib hash and it was so so delicious.
