On arriving all was lovely ,when all were seated it was drinks who wants drinks that went on throughout the meal even when you could see that the glass's were full ,food wasn't great a few family members said there's was tasteless so not impressed ,while seated they then started to remove the top table cloth and we hadn't even had the dessert menu ,would I go here again no ,everything was rushed and not at one point were we left just to talk as they were constantly at the table ,drinks drinks anyone want more drinks .it's a shame as this was a family occasion and we couldn't really enjoy ut for the constand interruptions .
I took 2 friends to show off The Shaan last Sunday. We had the Sunday banquet. They were so impressed they picked up the bill for me! As ever, the cost was incredibly reasonable for the divine, exquisitely cooked Indian /Bangladeshi food we enjoyed that evening. I'd like to thank Raj, and all his team front of house who kindly and attentively looked after us, plus the truly amazing chef in that kitchen!! I can't wait to return. Best wishes Annie
We stumbled upon this Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in Witney,Oxfordshire, UK. There’s a huge range of dishes to choose from but we tried the Vegetable Saag it’s beautifully fresh and aromatic and full of delicious vegetables. The staff are super friendly and accomodating, including Mr Omor and Sumon and the chef, Mustafa. You won’t be disappointed!
I am not able to visit as often as previously, but you, at The Shaan are still beyond compare. My Rezala, as part of my fabulous Sunday banquet was just divine. Thank you to all your kind staff, and your skilled chef. xx. Two friends have asked how they can return a favour to me. I've said Take Me To The Shaan!! See you in September x

Went on a Sunday night for the £13.50 banquet. Absolutely wonderful. Starter, main, side, rice or naan, kulfi or coffee. Staff brilliant. I was last in this restaurant about 10 years ago, and the banquet was £9.95. So it's gone up £3.55 in 10 years! Incredible value and quality. Shame. I live 200 miles away
Restaurant is very nice inside and the service was very good and friendly. Menu was extensive with some different dishes but also contained the classics. Food was excellent and throughly enjoyed by all of us . Price was reasonable.
Average food. Polite staff. Atmosphere was ok. The food was just not a good standard although reasonably priced. Two of the waiters were fantastic, one just seemed moody although could of just being having an off day.
Absolutely fantastic food best jalfrezi I've ever had (and my waistline reveals I've had many! . Service impeccable! Can't wait to visit again next time in the area.
