The butter chicken is anything but traditional. It tastes overwhelmingly sweet, as if they added a whole bottle of corn syrup—it's quite sickening. The vegetable coconut curry is also inedible; I’m not sure how to even describe its flavor—whatever it is, it’s lacking and has a hint of bitterness and dirt. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and it will definitely be my last. Nothing seems to be made from scratch either; their pakora batter is pre-made and not traditional. Pakoras should be gluten-free, but it seems they chose to take a shortcut. What a disappointment!

Decent pricing and portion sizes. Our vindaloo and tikka masala were okay but the butter chicken was barely edible, it's like it had 10x the correct amount of one of the seasonings and it was very unpleasant as a result. The saffron rice tasted offensively like hot plastic as if it had been cooked in the container we took it home in, while the regular rice was dried and stale. The samosas were okay but overall I don't think I'll return because half of what we ordered didn't live up to expectations.

We ordered chicken tikka masala and eggplant bharta, and both dishes were fantastic. The portions were quite generous, allowing us to enjoy two meals from our order, and the prices were very reasonable. Since we opted for takeout, I can’t comment on the restaurant's ambiance, but I did spot a beautiful rainbow while driving there to pick up our food.

We ordered food from this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The staff member who helped us was incredibly patient and answered all of our questions with great care. We really enjoyed the food, and the portions were generous. We would definitely love to come back and explore more items on their menu!

This restaurant is an absolute treasure. The food quality, along with its rich and deep flavors, is exceptional. Having lived and traveled extensively, I can confidently say that this place surpasses many others. It truly is a rare find, and Vernon is fortunate to have it.

I ordered the coconut chicken curry, coconut rice, chicken pakora, and garlic naan, and everything was fantastic! The portion sizes were just right for the price, and the food was incredibly delicious. I requested medium spice, and it turned out to be perfectly balanced.

I love Shahi Pakwan, they serve the best curry in the Okanagan! My personal favourite is the lamb coconut curry, it 's so delicious I literally cried. Thank you Shahi Pakwan for the large All-you-can-eat serving portion and the rice and Nan bread are cooked perfectly. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fair prices, good flavours and nice sized portions. 4 stars due to tough chicken and lacking a little consistency. Room for improvement but definitely could be worse.
