The two employees working the night shift at Shah's Halal Food were very unprofessional. The younger worker overcharged me, gave me the wrong order, and was rude when I tried to confirm my meal. I ordered three items from the menu: two chicken over rice and one combo with white and BBQ sauce. However, my order was missing salad, and I was charged $30. I also specifically requested hot sauce with the combo, but there was none, and the salad was still missing when I got home. I will be reporting these two overnight staff members to 311 and food protection services.
This cart/place is truly the best! The main people working there are incredibly sweet, and the food is absolutely delicious. Every time I visit, the food is fresh and served hot. I highly recommend this spot to all my friends and family. Thank you all for the tasty meals and for being so kind and friendly!
Food is usually good here but sometimes it?s stale usually late in the afternoon or night time and recently the prices increase probably because of Covid but now I don?t know because the pandemic is over
The lamb was burnt, there were tiny pieces of it along with bigger pieces and there wasn’t enough compared to the rice. Easily the worse experience I had with a halal cart. $8 for burnt meat is

Whenever I’m in New York, I always order the chicken over rice. You can't beat the $8 price for a full box, and the food is absolutely delicious!
Just ate one of the best Gyros I ever had from these guys, tasted so fresh well put together run dont walk thank me later!!
Shahs is the best halal cart in NY. I've tried from all over the city but nobody cooks better than shahs.
Great Halal food cart, opens early and close very late. And cheap prices, with a free soda!
