I have ordered food from this location several times in the past and each delivery was exceptional. Last night the order was so disappointing. The Gyro had mushy soggy bread and the ingredients did not look like they were fresh. It looked like it was sitting on the counter, waiting for somebody to pick it up for a very long time. My kids ordered the lamb over rice and it was no better. It actually looked like the inside of the Gyro. Did not look fresh was not appetizing. We had to throw it out new ownership? Something has definitely changed because this was such a drastic contrast from previous orders.
I visited Shah's Halal Food last week and noticed on the menu that they accepted card payments. However, after I received my food, the staff informed me that they only take cash.
This will be my last order from Shah's Halal Food. The meal arrived late and cold, and my special requests were ignored. I’m very disappointed and feel let down!
Delicious! I initially rated it 4 stars because I'm not a fan of their green sauce. However, the food and quality are as good as any other food cart in NYC.

The Halal food here is outstanding, and the green sauce is truly flavorful. I only wish their dishes included chicken.
Tasty chicken over rice, will keep on ordering. Give them a try, white sauce is pretty good as well. Fast delivery!
